The Lowdown...
The IrishSeisiun.org site was created to be a hub of communication and resources for Irish session musicians in the Phoenix metro area. I designed the site to have the look and feel of an Irish pub (where the music is must often played) with its earthy dark tones.Included within the site is a phpbb forum that was customized to match the rest of the website. The forum turned out to be overwhelmingly successful, as there are now over 50 registered users and 1700+ posts in less than one year of existence.
I built the site to be SEO friendly. It currently ranks #1 on Google under the search terms “Irish Seisiuns” (the traditional Irish spelling) and #5 using the common English terms, “Irish Sessions.”
